Some of the things I'm working on. May or may not be fully finished at the time of this post. Feel free to add on any ideas you have.
-Shrine of Dharma and all the DW7 classes plus Merchant.
-Personality system. You can find books to change it throughout the game. These will have effect on your stat gains, much like your current class will.
-Parchisi Track.
-Being able to change your icon at will in the starting shrine.
-Mercs that join to help the story out (much like Agassi).
-Item collecting quests like Slime Skins.
-Alchemy Pot.
-Tension system.
-Shovel quest.
-Casino games like roulette, slots, and monster betting.
-Possible bag system.
-Select your own battle and world map music.
-Display a custom avatar for chat.
-16 bit graphics.
-48 spells and 24 skills to learn.
-22 classes
-Almost 500 different items/equipment to find. More coming.
-Almost 200 maps are in cue to be used for the game.
-Larger world map (about 200% times larger then the average game.)
-Option to move your battle text to the text window and select your speed of the text.
-New spells and skills never seen before in a Dragon Quest game.
-Return to the Dragon Quest title to be more current with new games.
-Character graphics are taller and more to a realistic scale then SoE1.
-Almost full HUD based. Once a number input box and bag system is finished, game will be purely HUD and chat text. No pop up boxes.
-Day and night cycles along with day, month, and year. Seasons change and may bring different types of random weather.
-Different monsters may be present at night.
-Learn different spells and skills as you train in different classes. You may carry what you learn over to the next class you train in.
-Unlock new and more powerful classes as you master classes.
-Classes have their own experience levels. You gain exp in your class dependent on the exp you win in battle. No more having to fight so many battles to reach you next class level. No more having to always fight the toughest monsters. The stronger the monsters, the more quickly you will advance in your class.
