Since you made the new skills for our new class system, some seem to be pretty cool looking. However, whether they are working properly or are useful or not is the question. Or perhaps they are working too well...
I'm a goof-off to dancer at the moment, but I'll also review other skills i encountered via Merc. Also please understand that I realize this game is still a work in prgress, thus these are meant to help fix the game, not look down upon it.
Bark - Basically is Warcry I believe. Normally war cry works on ALL enemies, or even a group, but this only affects one enemy. Since it is a basic skill, it makes sense enough to do this. However, when it says it "works" in battle, the enemy sometimes still is able to attack. This skill pretty much is worthless since not only do you have to be faster than the enemy for your status to matter (just about all distract statuses don't carry over to the next round like real Dragon Quest for when you are slower than the enemy) but it might not work even when it says it does. Distract skills really need to be fixed up or else you may as well just take them away/put in skilsl that do function.
Tickle - Suffers the same as Bark.
Boxer Dance - Not only does it suffer the same as Bark and Tickle, but this move is supposed to connect to a group of enemies. At this time it only affects one monster. Would like to see this get multi target affect as well once distract moves are taken care of, otherwise, dancer will basically have two moves that are exactly the same thing which is just useless.
Bird Slash - So far, I've only seen this do the same or less ddamage as a normal attack. I might not have used it at the right times, but would like to know what monsters actually are birds so I could test it out with Galand and see if this does do the extra damage it's supposed to. I used it on BlackRaven and it was nothing noteworthy. The damage SHOULD be a noticeable increase I imagine.
Giggle - At a first glance it may seem useless but I am actually quite impressed with how this skill was made. It either returns tension to normal or simply lowers it by 1, but I was so happy to see this! I thought it would be another useless skill, but it in fact should prove to be quite useful! Very impressed with it!
Silliness - A skill that makes you forget to attack.... Honestly a useless skill. I understand it's meant to be there since it is a goof off skill, but would be nice if it was something even remotely useful. According to Dragon's Den, it is supposed to cancel damage from the attacks on the round it is used, and it certainly does not do that. I'd be happy if this was just another "parry" type skill actually. I'd prefer it to be goof off's skill to "goof off" when it changes classes. That way I can hope for trip crits again, haha. Or Even maybe make it teh Juggle move that does a lot of damage to either side. (it would be better to have that juggle move as a risky skill instead of having me kill myself as a goof whenever I try to attack :x)
Bang/Boom - These spells are very nice, but I think either Bang is too strong, or Boom is too weak. So many times, bang can pass Boom's attack power. Although boom is the more reliable spell in terms of always having that same strength, i feel perhaps Bang should be weakened to half of what boom does, or boom should have capabilities of being 50% stronger than bang. Gets magic users more bang for their mp, or in this case, boom. there are some other spells that fall into this sort of relationship as well I believe which should be looked at as well.
Upper/Increase - Seems to be working well. It's noticeably helpful, and for that I say good job!
Sap/Decrease - At this time only seems useful to debuff a monster's Increase/Upper. Of course I used a whip when testing damage differences so it may not be as noticeable... It seems noticeable in Mila's attack difference, so I guess it''s main use is for non-multi targeted weapon (or maybe just no whip).
OddDance Seems to work nicely but I think the monsters may have too much mp for it to be worth it. Any chance this could be able to steal more than usual based on a stat perhaps? Either way, it seems decent at least, just not so useful unless perhaps a boss fight where the boss's mp isn't unlimited or incredibly high...
