Figured I'd go ahead and give a list of stuff that is wrong, or at least seems in-balanced.
Jump Kick- Seems to work just fine, hits a single unit and does the same as weapon up to 15 higher then average, which is good.
Leg Sweep- Says it trips them but they still seem to take an action anyone whether they regain balance or not that turn.
Punch- It...just sorta sucks, Jump Kick does more damage on average and punch does generally less damage then a normal attack. (In my experience of the 7 or so times I've used it.)
Crag Throw- Completely useless..hits a group for 5-12 tops. When you can use whips and rangs, why the hell bother wasting a turn on a skill like this?
Call Army- Really hit or miss. One of five things happen in my experience with it.
Hitall- Every monster gets hit once for standard damage. (About the same to a little less then my weapon does.)
Mob- It varies from like 2 to 8 or so hits on random monsters, dealing with a boss this can be a big help. Deals standard damage.
Innkeeper- Party is healed for 15-30 Hitpoints.
Medical Herbs- Merchants start using medical herbs on everyone, the problem I have with this skill, is these herbs heal for 1-5....I mean, seriously? For my Merchant level 8 skill it's only 1-5? And to top it they generally only use 1-4 herbs, so I'd be better off using an herb myself I'd get more that way.
Fail- Obviously this is in there, but figured I'd add it for completion, the skill doesn't work. Can't figure out if it is random chance or based on luck.
Caravan- Out of Battle skill, doesn't work at all. I've used it in towns, out of towns, tried every terrain tile I've seen so far to see if that was added for shits n giggles, doesn't work in dungeons or anything. Takes no MP eithier. (Not sure if it was meant to or not.)
So yeah that's about it. Figured I'd toss out the skills I have gotten so far, I will add to this when I hit Rogue and see what those skills are about, the skills just feel...cheated to me I guess. I am always better off using a normal attack with the first rang. (From Nallihia) then any other skill, unless it's a boss, then I might spam Jump Kick. Are these all based on INT or something? And if so, why? Merchant base int gains massively suck. You're setting the class up to fail, and if not, then well I dunno just seems crappy. I realize it's still in the works but tossing my two cents out there. Cheers.
