Because of color amounts and pass issues with color edited sprites, we will not be doing them.

Why not just do some preset colors instead of color swapping them in Byond? That way is just too ugly anyway. It really isn't hard to color edit those type of sprites, nor does it take a lot of time. Or maybe I'm just too experienced (long time pixel artist) at that sort of thing to know how the average joe can do it. I might lend a hand if you need it. There's a color swap filter in GIMP which makes this thing even faster than hand editing. I enjoy making my character at least unique, somewhat. I find it very boring to find a million characters that look the same. That's why I enjoyed SoE1. It wasn't the best, but at least I could "emmerse" myself into the character a bit. Guess as an artist and envisionist I'm a bit too imaginative in my games. Looks great so far! Keep up the great work! Like I said, if you're interested in what I just suggested, just give me some sprite sheets and you'll be able to add some uniqueness to the characters. - Neblim

I like your suggestion on preset colors for sprites. Though not an immediate thing required, I would love to see that after the other issues are fixed. Right now, I'd be happy just to see the game up.
